Twisted Ridge

A sculptural residence set into a wooded ridge, its roofline twisting to follow the slope and open each room to a different piece of the valley.

The geometry was unforgiving. Every framing member met the next at a shifting angle, so we modeled the entire structure before a single board was cut.

The result is a home that feels carved from the site, with cantilevers and glass that make the woods part of the interior.
